Snow White

Dawn French is a comedian loved up and down the country and is making her pantomime debut this year in Snow White. Meeting her comedy partner Jennifer Saunders at college, the pair started their performing career together as French and Saunders. French is best known for starring in The Vicar of Dibley, which first aired in 1994. In 2009, she won a BAFTA fellowship with Jennifer Saunders for her outstanding achievement in television and film. Her stage credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, tours with Jennifer Saunders in French and Saunders Live as well as going on her solo tour 30 Million Minutes in 2014.

Returning to the London Palladium for his third pantomime, Julian Clary has regularly appeared in shows at Christmastime for over 2 decades. A loved comic, he made his first appearance on television in 1989, has appeared on many television shows and has also been a housemate in Celebrity Big Brother. As well as a best-selling author, he has appeared on stage as the Emcee in Cabaret and Le Grand Mort at Trafalgar Studios, written for him.

After winning the role of Dorothy in the BBC 1 series Over the Rainbow, Danielle Hope has enjoyed a successful theatre career. Since winning, she has played Eponine in Les Misérables, Maria in The Sound of Music and Sandy in Grease. Currently, she is starring as Sherrie in the UK tour of Rock of Ages before taking on the titular role at the Palladium this Christmas.

Charlie Stemp will play the Prince in Snow White, after recently starring in the Broadway production of Hello, Dolly! with Bette Midler and Bernadette Peters. Last year, he played the title role in Dick Whittington at the London Palladium, as well as receiving an Olivier nomination for his performance as Arthur Kipps in Half a Sixpence. In 2019, he will star as Bert in the West End revival of Mary Poppins opposite Zizzi Strallen.

Gary Wilmot has an extensive list of stage credits including Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. More recently, he has appeared in Big The Musical in Plymouth and as Badger in The Wind in the Willows at the London Palladium. He has released three solo albums and was awarded an MBE in 2018 for services to charity and drama.

Starring in recent pantomimes at the London Palladium, Nigel Havers has appeared in countless films and television shows including Chariots of Fire, Coronation Street and as Lord Hepworth in Downton Abbey. He starred in Art on a UK tour in 2018 and he will be reprising his role for another tour, starting in 2019.

After winning America’s Got Talent in 2015, Paul Zerdin has performed at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. He’s been on UK screens since the 1990’s, winning The Big Big Talent Show in 1996. More recently, he has starred in The Royal Variety Performance and has appeared in Dick Whittington and Cinderella at the London Palladium.

Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace-Mistry are best known for being professional dancers, dancing with numerous celebrities over the years in Strictly Come Dancing. Flavia won the show in 2012 with her dance partner, Louis Smith. Since leaving the show, they have embarked on numerous national tours, performing Ballroom, Latin and Argentine Tangos in their shows.

Nativity! The Musical

Currently playing Mick Carter in Eastenders, Danny Dyer is a household name in British television and theatre. On stage, he has starred in Celebration and The Homecoming. Danny Dyer is an avid fan of Harold Pinter and will be appearing in A Slight Ache/Dumb Waiter in 2019 at the Harold Pinter Theatre, alongside celebrities including Martin Freeman.

Dani Dyer has recently entered the public eye after winning Love Island in 2018. Nativity! The Musical will be her stage debut, but she has appeared in many films including Doghouse, We Still Kill the Old Way and Age of Kill.

Jo Brand is a British comedian, currently hosting Bake Off: An Extra Slice but has also appeared on shows including QI and Have I Got News for You. She has appeared in the Channel 4 sitcom Damned and made her pantomime debut in 2013 in Aladdin at New Wimbledon Theatre.

The Messiah

Hugh Dennis is best known for playing Pete Brockman in Outnumbered and being a regular panellist on Mock the Week alongside Dara O’ Briain. His stage credits include All in the Timing at Nottingham Playhouse and a national tour of Silhouette. The Messiah will be Hugh Dennis’ West End premiere.

Opera singer Lesley Garrett has appeared on stage in numerous shows, including The Merry Widow, The Sound of Music at the London Palladium and Carousel at the Savoy Theatre. In 2016, she originated the role of Val in Pleasure which premiered in Leeds.

A Christmas Carol

Stephen Tompkinson will play Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. Known for starring in Wild at Heart and DCI Banks, he has also appeared in many productions including Spamalot at the Playhouse Theatre, and Arsenic and Old Lace at the Strand Theatre (now Novello Theatre). In 2018, he toured the UK in a revival of Art, having previously performed in the production in 2000.
