With plenty of new shows opening across the West End in 2020, it can be hard to decide what to see in London. From world-famous stars on stage to long-awaited transfers, there’s something for everyone. But, if you’re still struggling, we’ve rounded up the shows that we’re looking forward to in the next 12 months.
What we’re looking forward to in 2020
“I’m really looking forward to seeing how an important novel like To Kill a Mockingbird is presented on stage – some of its themes are still relevant today and I think the show will feel very timely. Following on from the show’s fantastic success on Broadway, I’m happy to see this show included as part of the West End’s 2020 offerings.” – Adam, Product Manager
“I’m really excited to see City Of Angels when it opens in March. It had brilliant reviews when it was previously produced at the Donmar Warehouse, and I can’t wait to see what I missed out on last time around. They’ve assembled a stellar cast of West End and Broadway veterans, as well as big names from the worlds of film and pop music to give it a bit of extra showbiz glamour!” – Stephen, Product Marketing Co-ordinator
“I can’t wait to see Cirque du Soleil: Luzia because there are no limits to the amount of creativity and effort they put on their shows, which doesn’t cease to amaze me. As well as their stunning talent and creativity, Cirque du Soleil master the art of storytelling. I can’t wait to be mesmerised by the set and acrobatic performances, and I am looking forward to being taken to Mexico!” – Yasmine, Digital Assistant
“I am looking forward to seeing Stoppard’s new play, portraying how a Jewish family keep hold of their religious identity in the world premiere of Leopoldstadt, the Viennese quarter where Jewish families took refuge. With its world premiere in 2020, I’m very curious to know what Stoppard has in store for us, taking audiences into the heart of historical and vibrant Vienna.” – Ashleigh, Social Media and Email Marketing Manager
