West Side Story
Ivo van Hove directs the latest Broadway revival of West Side Story at the Broadway Theatre, featuring 32 perfomers who will make their debut performance on the Great White Way. Inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the popular twentieth-century musical sees two rival gangs named the Sharks and the Jets clash on the streets of New York, with Tony, a Jet, falling in love with Maria, a Shark. Set to Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim’s iconic soundtrack including ‘Somewhere’ and ‘Maria’, get ready to see a whole new side of ‘America’ at West Side Story.
Patti LuPone returns to Broadway in 2020, let’s all drink to that. Don’t miss the critically-acclaimed, groundbreaking revival of Company at the Bernard B.
