Ever been in love with someone when you know you shouldn’t have? In a love story that’s mixed up and baked in a beautiful pie, Waitress makes its West End premiere at the Adelphi Theatre in February 2019. It’s not all lovey-dovey at the beginning, as Jenna Hutchinson is stuck in a problematic relationship with her husband. When she falls pregnant and he’s the father, she initially doesn’t want the child. Jenna later sees there’s a pie contest with a large cash prize and this spurs her on to enter, taking the winnings to leave Earl and start a new life with her child. Waitress is a tear-jerker bringing the real feelings of a relationship to the West End that’s guaranteed to bring any couple closer together.
