How can I sing with the cast of Waitress?

Sing one minute of any song from the musical, accompanied by the show’s musical director Katharine Woolley.

Before the performance starts, audience members can sign up for the chance to take part, then you can sit back and enjoy the show! Once the performance is finished, audience members who wish to take part will be invited to stay behind after the show. Names will then be randomly selected and you’ll be able to sing on the Adelphi stage. It couldn’t be simpler!

Who hosted the Waitress Cast Album Karaoke Night?

Desi Oakley hosted the Waitress Cast Album Karaoke night, currently making her West End debut for a one-week engagement as Jenna. She was joined by David Hunter, who is currently starring as Dr Pomatter in Waitress. He’s no stranger to the Adelphi Theatre, having played Charlie Price in Kinky Boots, as well as appearing in West End productions of Once and One Man, Two Guvnors.

They were joined by members of the full company, completed by:

Monique Ashe-Palmer, Piers Bate, Andrew Boyer, Tamlyn Henderson, Joel Montague, Olivia Moore, Ben Morris, Nathaniel Morrison, Rosemary Nkrumah, Laura Selwood, Matthew Rowland, Sarah O’Connor, Leanne Pinder, Hannah Tointon, Marisha Wallace and Mark Willshire.

Did you know that Sara Bareilles will join the West End cast of Waitress from 27th January? She’ll appear in Waitress from 27th January to 7th March opposite her Broadway co-star Gavin Creel, who returns to the West End to reprise his performance as Dr Pomatter.

What happens in Waitress?

Audiences meet Jenna Hunterson, a small-town waitress and expert pie baker working at Joe’s Diner. When she learns she is pregnant with a child to her unloving husband Earl, she confides in her gynaecologist, Dr. Jim Pomatter that she does not want the child. Wanting to leave Earl after a big argument, Jenna reveals to co-workers Dawn and Becky that she plans to enter a local pie contest and using the winnings to leave Earl and start a new life afresh. But, when love blossoms in unexpected places, will it be a recipe for disaster?
