Ever wondered what goes on at a football stadium when the match has been won and the fans have gone home to celebrate and commiserate? Well here’s your chance to discover exactly that. The Emirates Stadium Tour gives you exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the famous football stadium. Home to Arsenal Football Club, this is an incredible experience for big fans of sport wanting an insight to match day from the players’ perspective. Take your seat in the changing room, nerves stirring as you prepare to take the walk through the tunnel to the pitch, or sit in the dugout and imagine what it would be like to have 60,000 fans cheering you on!
Recently renovated, the Emirates Stadium houses an exhibition of items kindly donated by former players of Arsenal, items that hold a special place in the team’s impressive history. Jens Lehmann’s goalkeeper gloves from the 2003/4 season (in which the team was undefeated) are a particular sight for true fans, as well as Michael Thomas’ boots from Anfield in 1989 and Charlie George’s FA Final Cup shirt worn during the match in 1971. There are two video theatres playing highlights from Arsenal’s history and informative documentaries, as well as twenty major displays celebrating the team from its formation in 1886 through to the present day.
A one-of-a-kind experience for football fans of all ages.
The self-guided stadium tour is available in nine languages: English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin and Japanese.
