This unique tour covers Chelsea, Kensington, Holland Park, Notting Hill Gate, St Johns Wood, Marylebone and the West End. We’re touring the most prestigious sites in London that paved the way for the birth of both psychedelic and punk rock. See first had the pubs, clubs boutiques and locations that inspired some of the most well-known lyrics of a generation. Beatles fans will be able to see some of the most iconic locations that made the ‘mop tops’ who they were. See Brian Epstien’s flat, Ringo’s Kings Road apartments, John and Yoko’s first home, Paul’s current home, the EMI studio where the Sgt. Pepper’s cover was shot and see the last place the superstars performed live. You’ll even get the chance to walk across the famed Abbey Road crossing.
The tour will also cover locations where some of the most famous rock stars lived and worked, passing the homes of Freddie Mercury, Bowie, Bolan, Jimmy Page, Macca and Clapton. You’ll also see where Bob Geldof conceived Band Aid and Live Aid and if you’re a fan of classic acts such as Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley and The Rolling Stones, you will not be disappointed. In addition, your informed rock guide will surprise you with sites related to a multitude of bands that you may never have realised has such deep rooted London connections.
