Handel’s tale of intrigue and impropriety follows Agrippina, controlling and power-hungry in her desire to get her own way, abusing her power. Plotting the downfall of the Roman Emperor Claudius, Agrippina is determined for her son Nero to ascend to the throne, but will she be successful?

The running time is 3 hours and 45 minutes, with an interval of 30 minutes.
