Experience the weird, wild and wonderful at Circus 1903, returning to the Southbank Centre this Christmas. From contortionists and high-wire trapeze artists to jugglers, take a trip to the golden age of circus in a production packed with thrills and daredevil stunts. Coming to the Royal Festival Hall for just three weeks, you’ll want to head to the circus before it leaves town.
Circus 1903 boasts a huge cast of jaw-dropping and dangerous acts from all corners of the globe including ‘The Flying Fredonis’, ‘The Great Rokardy’ (Rokardy Rodriguez) and ‘Mademoiselle Natalia’. The Wheel of Death will be performed by Carlos Mayorga Macias, Robinson Valencia Lozada and Ray Freddy Valencia Bocanegra.
These new acts will join the previous and much-loved mind-bending juggler ‘The Great Gaston’, ‘The Sensational Sozonov’, ‘The Elastic Dislocationist’, ‘The Daring Desafios’, Ganbayar Munkhbat, Andryei Batbold and ‘Les Incredibles’.
Queenie and Peanut will return for 2019 alongside Ringmaster Willy Whipsnade.
Taking aspects of the modern-day circus and traditional acts, discover what made the Golden Age of circus tick at Circus 1903. Led by David Williamson as ringmaster, marvel in awe at the death-defying tricks taking place throughout.
