DC Exhibition: Dawn of Super Heroes, brand new to the O2, is a haven for all die-hard DC Comics fans and a feast of easy to digest information for those looking to learn more about the cult superhero franchise.
This sweeping, multi-room display features more than 200 original comic pages, and around 300 preparatory sketches and concept artworks for the cinema. It allows you to stand tall next to costumes worn by stars such as Christopher Reeve, Heath Ledger and Gal Gadot, with 45 original costumes, models and props – including a life-size Batcyle – used in the iconic films making an appearance in the exhibition. There’s also a huge selection of merchandise waiting for you in the lobby.
Geek out as you travel from room to room with each section focused on a different superhero. From Batman to Wonder Woman, there’s something for every fan. Learn about Gotham’s links to New York, why Kryptonite was introduced into the Superman storyline and how The Joker’s character developed through the years. For fans of the Super Villains, it’s not just The Joker that gets a look in. You’ll find The Penguin, Mr. Freeze and Harley Quinn lurking in the shadows.
