About Voices of the Amazon - Sisters Grimm

Following the Grammy® Award nominated success of INALA, performed with Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Sisters Grimm return to Sadler’s Wells with Voices of the Amazon, a stunning new dance musical that leads us deep into the heart of the Amazon rainforest. Embracing indigenous legend, a tale of love and bravery unfolds, bursting with a colourful carnival of animals and birds.

With voiceover narration by Jeremy Irons and performed by 16 dancers, singers and musicians, including the Royal Ballet's First Artist Nathalie HarrisonVoices of the Amazon fuses ballet, contemporary and capoeira with a sensational Brazilian musical score, created in collaboration with world-renowned percussionists, Olodum.
