About The Gruffalo's Child

Presented by Tall Stories, the hugely popular book The Gruffalo’s Child comes to life on stage, returning to the West End for another season. Following sell-out tours across Britain and around the world, The Gruffalo’s Child will once again enthral London audiences with its songs, laughs and scary fun.

What's the story?

In this magical and musical adaptation, The Gruffalo’s Child deliberately disobeys her father and sneaks out into the dark wood one wild and windy evening to find the Big Bad Mouse, the only thing her father is afraid of. Along her journey she finds tracks left by a snake, an owl and a fox, all of which she initially suspects to be the Big Bad Mouse. But these friendly creatures inform her where she can find the real Big Bad Mouse. But as her journey continues, will she discover this mysterious creature, or has her father been deceiving her all along just to teach her a valuable lesson about good and evil?
