Falsettos Charity Gala Evening supporting the Make A Difference Trust. Your evening begins with a drinks and canapé reception at 6.30pm, prior to the show at 7.30pm. the evening will conclude with a celebrity hosted Q&A with members of the company.
First performed on Broadway in 1992, Falsettos will receive its UK premiere at The Other Palace later this year. Modern family dynamics are often tested in unexpected circumstances throughout the show, in a musical where trying to keep the peace can make for the greatest feuds, but reminding audiences that love is the most beautiful thing in the world.
Daniel Boys will play Marvin, previously starring in The Boys in the Bands, Spamalot, Avenue Q and Rent. Natasha J Barnes will star as Cordelia, recently appearing in The Twilight Zone at the Ambassadors Theatre.
Gemma Knight-Jones, Joel Montague, Laura Pitt-Pulford and Oliver Savile will also star in the show.
The cast is completed by Albert Atack, George Kennedy, Elliot Morris and James Williams who will share the role of Jason.
Set in the early 1980s, New York local Marvin begins to live with his boyfriend Whizzer, his son Jason and his psychiatrist Mendel. A unique family structure, this ‘tight-knit’ family is anything but happy. Wedding bells later ring, but heartbreak is in everyone’s future. However, everyone tries to remain positive in a bleak situation, originally created under the spectre of the AIDS crisis.
