About The Band

Making its much-anticipated debut in the West End is Take That’s The Band - the fastest selling musical theatre tour of all time! The Band comes from the mind of Tim Firth, the man behind the smash-hit West End musical The Girls. Featuring the boyband’s greatest hits, such as “Never Forget”, “Back for Good”, “A Million Love Songs”, “Greatest Day”, “The Flood”, “Relight My Fire”, “Shine” and “Rule the World”, this iconic show opens at Theatre Royal Haymarket from December.

Five to Five, the winners of Gary Barlow’s ‘Let it Shine’, will perform alongside a live band and a cast of 16 in this epic production created by the team behind Take That’s concerts. The Band is hilarious, heart-warming and nostalgic, taking you back to a time where boybands and friendships were the only things that mattered.

Experience Britain’s most successful boyband like never before, this epic tribute is all that anyone’s talking about and seeing the show live in London might just be the “greatest day” of your life!

AJ Bentley, Nick Carsberg, Curtis T Johns, Yazdan Qafouri and Sario Solomon make up the band, after winning the BBC hit series Let it Shine, where a panel of judges including Gary Barlow looked for the five performers to play the band.

Joining the band are a cast including Alison Fitzjohn, Emily Joyce, Rachel Lumberg, Jayne McKenna, Faye Christall, Katy Clayton, Rachelle Diedricks, Sarah Kate Howarth, Lauren Jacobs, Martin Miller and Andy Williams.

What's the story?

It’s 1992, and we meet a group of 16-year-old school friends united by their love for ‘The Band’. Following a traumatic event that changes each of their lives, the group is torn apart.

25 years later, after winning the chance to see their favourite singers in Prague, the group are reunited. What follows is a rollercoaster of emotions that will stay with you long after the performance ends.
