About 3Women

3Women, the hilariously frank debut play from the award-winning comedian and writer Katy Brand, is a tale of female family bonding and buried resentment, it raises the question – what does it mean to be a woman in the 21st century?

This story places three generations of women and their own very different identities and opinions into one hotel suite for a single night of redemption. What will be revealed?

The play will premiere at Trafalgar Studios 2 in May, and is directed by Michael Yale, whose recent work includes Late Company at the same venue.

WHO'S IN IT?: 3WOMEN CAST

Olivier Award-nominee Anita Dobson (‘EastEnders’) will lead the cast as Eleanor, joined by Debbie Chazen (The Girls) as Suzanne, Maisie Richardson-Sellers (‘Legends of Tomorrow’) as Laurie and Oliver Greenall (‘The Loch’) as the Waiter.

What's the story?

From wedding celebrations to disillusioned relationships, 3Women is razor-sharp and irresistible.

From generation to generation, Mother to Daughter to Grandaughter, this female-led play explores the consequences of the generational gap on attitudes, cultural expectations and family dynamics.

Three generations of the same family are brought together in one hotel room in a darkly comic exploration of what it means to be a modern woman.
