About A Midsummer Night's Dream

In association with the National Youth Theatre and Kneehigh, A Midsummer Night’s Dream comes to the Criterion Theatre. Abridged by Kate Kennedy, Shakespeare’s iconic comedy has been modernised into an inventive, playful production that’s on for just 10 performances.

WHO’S IN IT?: A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM CAST

The cast of A Midsummer Night’s Dream is completed by Guy Clark, Ella Dacres, Natalie Dunne, Jordan Ford Silver, Jamie Foulkes, Alice Franziska, Billy Hinchliff, Jadie Rose Hobson, Bede Hodgkinson, Tiwalade Ibirogba Olulode, Julia Kass, Sarah Lusack, Jemima Mayala, Joseph Payne, Sonny Poon Tip and Raj Singh.

What's the story?

In a shortened version of Shakespeare’s comedy, this new version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream captures the stories of mistaken identities, chaos and marriages a-plenty. As fairies and amateur actors co-exist in a one-of-a-kind forest, will the course of true love run smooth or will enchanting spells put a curse on proceedings?
