About Romeo and Juliet

The first season of the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company promises a year of unmissable theatre.

Working in collaboration with artistic associates, director Rob Ashford and designer Christopher Oram, the acclaimed actor-director Kenneth Branagh presents an exceptional series of five plays that bring together a remarkable group of actors, led by Rob Brydon, Judi Dench, Lily James and Freddie Fox.

Kenneth Branagh directs Freddie Fox and Lily James who play the leads in Shakespeare's heartbreaking tale of forbidden love. 

Please note: Richard Madden will not be returning to Romeo and Juliet before the production completes its run on 13 August. Freddie Fox will play the role of Romeo.

Important Information

Ticket purchases will be limited to a maxium of six tickets per person across all performances. Tickets will be dispatched 2 weeks prior to the performance.

Richard Madden will not be returning to Romeo and Juliet before the production completes its run on 13 August. Freddie Fox will play the role of Romeo.
