About The 7 Fingers (Les 7 doigts de la main) - Triptyque

Contemporary circus trailblazers 7 fingers  (Les 7 doigts de la main) present this triple bill: a collaboration with some of the most cutting –edge choreographers working today – Marie Chouinard, Victor Quijada and Marcos Morau.

A duet by Chouinard (bODY-rEMIX/gOLDBERG-vARIATIONS) initiates an awakening of gravity and its effects on the movement of the body. A quintet of virtuoso hand-balancers choreographed bu Quijada sees the artist seeking absolute control of gravity and exploring the relationship between stillness and movement.

The final piece is a collaboration with Morau (Voronia), which places a definite emphasis on ciorcus, as eight artists free themselves of both internal and physical obstacles. Strobe light features in one act of the 3rd piece, lasting about 20 seconds.
