About The Last Tango

Direct from a 33-week UK tour, Strictly stars Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace return to the West End as they prepare to dance in their final ever show together - The Last Tango.

Having been dancing together for over twenty years, the nation's favourite Argentine Tango Champions say goodbye in a thrilling new live show. Fresh from their hugely successful previous productions Midnight Tango and Dance 'Til Dawn, Vincent and Flavia reunite to tell a beautiful love story, from first meeting to the very last tango; a look back at how a couple fell in love and all the beautiful moments they shared together throughout life. Portrayed by Dermot Canavan, George looks through the possessions stored in his attic, memories being stirred from every item he uncovers, with the story behind the memory then being brought to life through dance. We journey through pre and post-war Britain, the births of the couple's children, numerous Christmases and celebrations and, ultimately, loss, all accompanied by music of the particular era. It is a subtle and moving look at romance and is an occasion to relish in the power of storytelling through dance. Joined by a fantastic ensemble of dancers and a live band, Vincent and Flavia portray the couple throughout their journey with such grace and truth that it is impossible not to be enthralled and moved.

Don't miss your last chance to see this beautiful couple do what they do best live, in an intimate, passionate and explosive experience - it's time for The Last Tango.

The Stars

Vincent Simone was born into a family of dancers, with both his parents specialising in Latin and ballroom dancing. Flavia Cacace joined her local ballroom dancing class when she was just 6 years old and has never looked back. Having both previously danced with other partners, the pair met in 1994 and have been dancing together since. Their 2005 debut on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing as choreographers for a group Argentine Tango introduced them to the British audience and, joining the show in the fourth series as professional dance partners for the celebrity contestants, they quickly established themselves as firm favourites with the public. Vincent has enjoyed great success in his pairings with Dani Harmer, who came fourth in the competition, and Rachel Stevens who came second. He has also famously danced with Edwina Currie and Felicity Kendal. Flavia danced successfully with Matt Di Angelo, coming in second place, and won the competition in 2012 with Louis Smith. She has also danced with Jimmy Tarbuck and Jimi Mistry, who she married in 2013.
