Cush Jumbo

Cush Jumbo is set to star in Macbeth alongside David Tennant at the Harold Pinter Theatre in October 2024. The pair first starred in the show at the Donmar Warehouse in 2023.

Jumbo has been nominated for two Olivier Awards: her first was for Phyllida Lloyd's all-female Julius Caesar at the Donmar in 2012, when she played Mark Antony, and her second was for the role of Hamlet at the Young Vic in 2021. She has also won a Critics’ Circle Theatre Award, UK Theatre Award, Evening Standard Theatre Award, and Ian Charleson Award.

Some of her other theatre credits include Brixton Stories at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, Liquid Gold at the Almeida Theatre, Love's Labour's Lost at Shakespeare's Globe, and Josephine and I, Jumbo’s debut one-woman play, which premiered at the Bush Theatre in 2013.

On screen, she is best known for playing attorney Lucca Quinn in drama series The Good Wife, opposite Julianna Margulies and Josh Charles.
