Celebrating their 25th anniversary, Frantic Assembly present a brand-new production, co-directed by Kathy Burke and Scott Graham. Titled I Think We Are Alone, it’s a bittersweet play where characters let go and hold on to what we love the most.
The I Think We Are Alone cast stars Chizzy Akudolu, a British actress best known for starring in Eastenders. The cast is completed by Charlotte Bate, Polly Frame, Caleb Roberts, Simone Saunders and Andrew Turner.
Two estranged sisters continue to communicate over text, and while their blunt language suggests one thing, all they want to do is clear the air and talk about the events that happened when they were young girls that haunt them.
Josie is not allowing grief to get in the way, focusing her energy on what’s best for her son, Manny, but can Josie ever let Manny go?
There is a person-shaped hole in Graham’s heart and it's driving him to some dark places. When a stranger returns an act of kindness, both find themselves opening up to connect in a spectacular way.
Following those who find themselves caring for others, I Think We Are Alone asks questions about an individual’s need for love, forgiveness and resilience.
