Irish terrorist Mad Padraic cares about one thing and one thing only: his cat, Wee Thomas.
Dark, funny and critically-acclaimed: Martin McDonagh’s The Lieutenant of Inishmore is now playing at the Noël Coward Theatre led by ‘Poldark’ star Aidan Turner.
This mad satire on terrorism is the second play in McDonagh’s Aaran Islands trilogy. Michael Grandage will direct this rare revival of The Lieutenant of Inishmore following the success of his 2013 production of The Cripple of Inishmaan, another play in the trilogy, which starred Daniel Radcliffe.
Guaranteed to leave you reeling, The Lieutenant of Inishmore is a riotous, acute observation of violence in contemporary culture, and an unmissable piece of theatre.
